Accessibility statement

How we make this website usable for as many people as possible.

Last updated 12/10/2026

Draft for UNYA-GH review. This text was prepared with the platform and has not yet been approved by UNYA-GH or checked by a lawyer. It is not in force.

1. Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification or voice control, and people on low-cost phones and slow connections. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

2. What we do

  • Text and buttons meet colour contrast standards, and links are underlined.
  • Everything works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a link to skip to the main content.
  • Images have text descriptions, and forms have clear labels and error messages.
  • Animations are subtle and switch off if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Pages are built to load quickly on mobile data and work on small screens.

3. Known limitations

  • Some older PDF documents may not be fully accessible. Ask us for another format.
  • The photo slideshows change automatically unless paused. Use the pause button, or set your device to reduce motion.

4. Tell us about a problem

If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another format, please contact us. We aim to reply within five working days.

5. How we test

We check pages with automated tools and by hand with a keyboard, on desktop and on mobile phones. Testing with screen readers and with members who use assistive technology will be done before launch.
