Speaker opens the 2026/2027 Term

Plenary resumed with the Speaker charging members to publish their work within seven days of every activity.

The House met for the first sitting of the 2026/2027 Term. In the opening address the Speaker asked every office to publish its activities within seven days.

The Speaker also announced the standing committees for the term and the date of the first vetting hearings.
